Resource and Environmental Carrying Capacity and Land Development Suitability Evaluation
Planning land space according to resource endowment and carrying capacity follows objective laws and provides an effective way to protect resources while supporting development. Through carrying-capacity and land-development suitability evaluation, TIRAIN analyzes regional resources and environmental conditions, identifies development issues and risks, and delineates ecologically critical areas. This supports spatial planning, optimization of land development and conservation patterns, refinement of regional functions, and the implementation of major ecological restoration and land consolidation projects.
Ecological Conservation Redline Delimitation
Across Shaanxi Province, using provincial-level coordination and cities and counties as units, TIRAIN builds on the third national land survey and evaluations of carrying capacity and land-development suitability. Combined with preliminary adjustments to the natural protected-area system, this work focuses on major construction and public-welfare projects, identifies key conflicts, and provides optimization principles and recommendations. It guides ecological conservation redline delineation to ensure ecological functions are maintained, their nature is unchanged, and the results are authoritative, scientifically sound, and enforceable.
